What size wall art should go above a sofa?
As a rule, wall art above a sofa should be about two thirds of the sofa's width — roughly 60 to 75 percent. Sized for a narrow wall, a console, an entryway or beside a bed. Hang it so the bottom edge sits about 15 to 20 cm above the back of the sofa.
How high should I hang it?
Centre the piece at about eye level, 145 to 150 cm from the floor to its middle. Above furniture, keep a hand's width to a palm's width of wall between the furniture and the bottom edge.
Will there be a visible cord?
Only if you choose PLUG-IN. The BATTERY version runs on AA batteries with nothing showing.
How warm is the light?
Warm white, around 2700K — the colour of a lamp at golden hour, not a cold ceiling light. It is dimmable.
Is the vase real glass and can I use water?
Yes. It holds a fresh stem with a little water, or dried stems with none. Keep the level low and wipe spills so the wood stays dry.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
The form and size will match. The surface is finished by hand, so tone and texture vary slightly piece to piece.
How is it packed?
In a fitted box with corner protection and a rigid outer carton. If anything arrives damaged, send us a photo and we will make it right.
