Refund & Return Policy
We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
30-Day Returns
You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. To be eligible, items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging. Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.
How to start a return
- Email hi@thehouseland.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
- We reply within 24 business hours with the return address and instructions. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
- Once the returned item is received and inspected, we'll email you the approval status.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
Damaged, defective, or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will send a free replacement or issue a full refund — you will not pay return shipping for our mistakes.
Return shipping costs
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping. For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, HOUSELAND covers all costs.
Order cancellations
You may cancel an order free of charge within 12 hours of purchase, as long as it has not shipped. Email us as soon as possible with your order number.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven't received an approved refund after 10 business days, first check with your bank or card issuer, then contact us at hi@thehouseland.com and we will investigate immediately.
Non-returnable items
Gift cards and items marked final sale are not eligible for return.
