How do you turn the decision into an installer-ready specification?
- Give the installer 1 written specification containing the selected ceiling light fixture version, quantity, light color, confirmed control model, control locations, and activity-based brightness preferences. Use a dated document with a clear revision number.
- Assign each fitting a reference, such as L1 or L2, and connect its light switch location to the same reference on a room sketch.
- Label different equipment distinctly: ceiling fans with lights should not share an ambiguous entry with a flush mount ceiling light.
- For bedroom ceiling light fixtures, describe the intended activity beside each requested setting, and include the seller’s exact option identifier to prevent substitutions.
