Next to a mirror it works the way a classic bulb-front makeup light does: the bare globe throws soft, even light onto the face instead of the wall. Beside a bed it is a small wall sconce that frees the whole nightstand, and because the head swivels it doubles as a wall mounted reading light. The look stays minimalist wall sconce clean: one cone, one globe, no shade to dust. Pick the color-matched backplate for a seamless modern look, or the rubberwood plate for a warmer scandinavian wall sconce feel that matches oak furniture. Either way this bedside wall sconce reads like a nordic wall lamp scaled down to studio-apartment size.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about the materials, care and everyday use — no fine print.
Is a bulb included?
Only if you pick a Bulb option: a 7W warm-light or 7W white-light globe. The no-bulb option ships without one, and the E27 socket takes any standard US E26 bulb, so you can fit the globe style you prefer.
Does it plug in, or is it hardwired?
It installs hardwired to a standard wall box (AC 110-240V), so nothing hangs down the wall. That matters beside a mirror or a bed, where a trailing cord would spoil the clean look.
Will the exposed bulb cause glare?
Use a frosted globe bulb and it will not: the frosted glass spreads the light into a soft, even glow, which is exactly why bulb-front lights are used around makeup mirrors. Avoid clear-glass filament bulbs at eye level.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
Yes, as a wall sconce for bathroom mirror walls and powder rooms, mounted on a dry wall away from direct water spray. It is not rated for inside shower zones or where it would be splashed.
What is the difference between the two backplate styles?
The color-matched iron backplate disappears into the sconce for a seamless modern look; the natural rubberwood backplate adds a warm wood accent that pairs well with oak and walnut furniture.
Can I aim the light?
Yes. It is a swivel wall sconce: the cone head tilts and turns, so you can point the globe at a page, along a hallway, or toward the mirror. It holds position once set.
What are the dimensions?
The sconce stands 13 cm (5.1 in) tall and reaches 17 cm (6.7 in) from the wall, about the size of a coffee mug on its side. It suits walls where a full-size shade would feel bulky.
What is it made of?
The cone holder and backplate are painted iron with a soft matte finish, the cap detail and the optional backplate are solid rubberwood, and the joint is metal. There is no plastic in the visible body.
How do I clean and care for it?
Switch the power off and let the bulb cool, then wipe the painted iron and wood with a dry soft cloth. A slightly damp cloth is fine for the holder; keep moisture away from the socket.
How long does shipping take, and can I return it?
Shipping times and the return window for your address are shown at checkout. If the sconce arrives damaged or a part is missing, contact us with a photo and we will sort out a replacement.
