The larger size isn't the small one scaled up
Two loops of cotton rope, draped and crossed at the center over a curved wood beam - that's the shape this piece sells, and it comes in two sizes. The instinct is to assume the big version is just the small one blown up bigger. It isn't: the 120 x 80 cm size carries its own designs, and only one of them is the same two-tone pattern as a small-size color.
At 80 x 60 cm / 31.5 x 23.62 in, four colors are offered - blue, green, orange and gray - each a color-and-cream two-tone rope wall hanging draped over a solid curved wood beam. At 120 x 80 cm / 47.24 x 31.5 in, only two designs exist: one repeats the green-and-cream pairing at a larger scale, and the other is a three-color rust, navy and cream pattern that has no small-size equivalent at all.
100% cotton; wall mounted, boho style wall decor. Its own title calls this a macrame wall hanging with tassels, which the construction doesn't quite support - the macro photograph below shows rope draped and crossed, not knotted, and there's no separate tassel element anywhere on it.

What you get
- One draped rope piece, in the size and color you choose.
- A curved solid wood beam the rope hangs from - the only rigid part, and the closest thing to a frame it has.
- Four colors at 80 x 60 cm: blue, green, orange, gray.
- Two designs at 120 x 80 cm: a green-and-cream two-tone, and a rust/navy/cream three-color pattern unique to this size.
- 100% cotton rope.
Dimensions, and what they mean on your wall
The four 80 x 60 cm colors each carry a printed size diagram; the two 120 x 80 cm designs do not - their measurements come only from the variant name itself. No weight figure is published for either size.
| Small size | 80 cm / 31.5 in wide, 60 cm / 23.62 in tall - the same on all four colors. |
|---|---|
| Large size | 120 cm / 47.24 in wide, 80 cm / 31.5 in tall, per the variant name. No diagram is printed for this size, unlike the small one. |
| Wall space, small | Roughly 80 x 60 cm of clear wall, plus a little room either side for the outer loops |
| Depth off the wall | The beam is a solid, moderately thick curved plank; the rope lies close to the wall below it. |

How to hang it
The four small-size colors are never photographed from the back, and no hardware appears in any of their lifestyle shots. The two large-size designs are different: both are staged with two wall-mounted hooks and a short loop or chain link at each end of the beam.

At 80 cm wide, a single small-duty picture hook centered on the beam is plausible; at 120 cm wide and with no weight published, two hooks spaced along the beam - the approach the large-size photos show - is the safer bet regardless of which size you order.

Picking a size
80 x 60 cm, four colors, $84.99. The smaller footprint suits a nightstand-width wall or a spot beside a window. All four colors share the same printed size diagram and the same construction.
120 x 80 cm, two designs, $159.99. Close to double the width and a third more height, sized for a headboard wall or a sofa-width feature wall. Only two options exist here, and one of them - the rust/navy/cream pattern - isn't offered at the small size at all, so it isn't a case of picking any small-size color and simply ordering it bigger.
Picking a color
Blue. A deep petrol blue against cream, small size only.
Green. A muted sage against cream, available at both sizes - the one color that genuinely scales up if that's what you're after.
Orange. A warm rust-orange against a soft ivory-tan cream, small size only.
Gray. Cool silver-gray against cream, small size only, and the one color on a noticeably lighter honey-toned beam rather than the darker walnut-stained beam under blue, green and orange.

Rust, navy and cream. Large size only, and the only three-color pattern in this page - two colors plus cream rather than one color plus cream. Its photograph is also the one showing the two-hook wall mount.
Where this actually earns its place
Above a headboard, either size. The small size suits a full or a narrower bed; the large size, at 120 cm, suits a king headboard or a wall wide enough to carry it as a true wall yarn tapestry centerpiece rather than an accent.
A living room feature wall behind a sofa or an armchair, where the horizontal drape reads as a single sculptural object. This is where our own room photography puts the orange and gray colors, both staged with mid-century-style seating nearby.
Honest limits
- The large size is not a scaled-up version of the small colors. Only green carries over between sizes; the second large design, rust/navy/cream, is a unique three-color pattern with no small-size match. Blue, orange and gray don't exist at 120 x 80 cm.
- No weight is published for either size. The 80 x 60 cm size diagrams give width and height only; the 120 x 80 cm size has no printed diagram at all.
- Hardware appears inconsistently across the photos. Both 120 x 80 cm designs are staged with two wall hooks and beam-end loops; none of the four 80 x 60 cm colors show any hardware in their photography.
- "Technics: Knitted" is our declared value, and it doesn't match the draped, crossed-rope construction visible up close - most likely a generic catalog tag rather than an accurate description.
- No care instructions are published for either size. Treat it like any cotton textile: keep it dry and out of direct sun for color.
Before you buy
What sizes and colors are actually available?
80 x 60 cm comes in four colors: blue, green, orange, gray. 120 x 80 cm comes in two designs: the same green-and-cream pairing, and a rust/navy/cream three-color pattern that only exists at the large size. Blue, orange and gray are small-size only.
Is the large size just the small one enlarged?
No. Only the green design repeats between sizes. The second 120 x 80 cm option is a rust/navy/cream three-color pattern with no equivalent among the four small-size colors, so choosing a size also means choosing from a different, smaller set of designs.
What is it made of?
100% cotton rope, draped over a solid wood beam - a clean, unambiguous material claim rather than a vague catalog entry.
Is there hardware included to hang it?
Not confirmed either way in our text. The two 120 x 80 cm designs are photographed hanging from two wall-mounted hooks with a short loop or chain at each end of the beam; none of the four 80 x 60 cm colors show any hardware in their photography. Budget for your own hooks regardless of size.
Is this real macrame?
Not by the usual definition. Cotton rope draped over the wood beam and crossed at the center, not tied into macrame knots. There's also no separate tassel piece, despite "tassel" appearing in the title.
How much more does the large size cost?
The 80 x 60 cm colors list at 84.99; the 120 x 80 cm designs list at 159.99 - roughly double, for close to double the width. Both carry a compareAt price about twice the listed price.
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about the materials, care and everyday use — no fine print.
what sizes does this rope wall hanging come in?
Two: 80 x 60 cm / 31.5 x 23.62 in in four colors, and 120 x 80 cm / 47.24 x 31.5 in in two designs. The large size has no printed weight or diagram; the small size's diagram gives 80 x 60 cm across all four colors.
is the large size the same design as the small one, just bigger?
Only partly. The green design repeats between sizes. The second 120 x 80 cm option is a rust/navy/cream three-color pattern with no small-size match, and blue, orange and gray don't exist at the large size at all.
what colors are available?
At 80 x 60 cm: blue, green, orange and gray, each a color-and-cream two-tone. At 120 x 80 cm: the same green-and-cream pairing, plus a rust/navy/cream three-color design unique to that size.
What is this wall hanging made of?
100% cotton rope, draped over a solid curved wood beam - a clear, unambiguous material claim.
does it come with hanging hardware?
Not confirmed either way. Both 120 x 80 cm designs are photographed hanging from two wall-mounted hooks with a loop or chain at each beam end; none of the four 80 x 60 cm colors show any hardware in their own photography. Budget for your own hooks regardless of size.
how do you hang an 80 cm wide rope wall hanging?
No hardware is shown for the small size specifically, but the large size's photography - two wall hooks spaced along the beam - is a reasonable method to copy at either width, since the beam itself has no visible mounting point of its own.
How heavy is this piece?
The small size's diagram gives width and height only; the large size has no printed diagram at all, only the dimensions in its variant name.
what's a good large piece for above a king headboard?
The 120 x 80 cm size, in either the green-and-cream or the rust/navy/cream design, is close to double the width of the small size - sized for a wide headboard wall rather than a narrow accent spot.
What wall art fits a narrow hallway alcove?
The 80 x 60 cm size, based on our own desk-and-shelf staging photograph of the green color, which places it in a narrower space than a full living room wall.
what's the difference between the small and large sizes besides dimensions?
The color lineup. Small comes in four colors (blue, green, orange, gray); large comes in only two designs, one of which - rust/navy/cream - isn't offered small at all, and only green is shared between the two sizes.
how much more does the large size cost?
The 80 x 60 cm colors list at 84.99; the 120 x 80 cm designs list at 159.99, close to double, for close to double the width. Both carry a compareAt roughly twice their listed price.
Which color has a different-looking wood beam?
Gray. It ships on a visibly lighter, honey-toned beam, while blue, green and orange all sit on a darker walnut-stained beam. We don't call this out in its text; it's visible when the option photographs are compared directly.
Does this suit a mid-century modern living room?
Our own room photography stages the orange and gray colors with mid-century-style wood-framed seating nearby, and the curved wood beam itself reads as a mid-century design cue.
How do I care for a cotton rope wall hanging?
Keep it dry and out of direct sun for color, the standard default for cotton textiles without a specific care label.
is this a good gift for someone moving into a new apartment?
The small size at 84.99 is the lower-commitment option and needs only a picture hook or two. Check wall width before choosing size - 80 cm suits a narrower wall, 120 cm needs real headboard- or sofa-width space.
Is this handmade?
Our title uses handmade language, which this page repeats as our own claim rather than something independently verified.
is there a frame around it?
No separate picture frame. The curved wood beam is the structural top rail the rope drapes from; there's no backing board or frame around the rope itself.
is this safe to hang near where a child could reach it?
The rope loops hang loose below the beam and can be pulled. No weight rating or safety certification is published for either size, so this page hangs it out of easy reach rather than making a safety claim it can't support.
Will the rope have creases when it arrives?
Not addressed by us for this piece. Rope that ships folded or coiled commonly holds a crease at first; letting the piece hang for a day after unpacking typically lets gravity pull the loops back into a clean drape.
how is this different from a plain rope fringe wall hanging?
Construction. A fringe hangs straight down in parallel cords; this piece drapes two loops of rope over a curved wood beam and crosses them at the center, reading as one continuous wave rather than a row of strings.
