One fixing. The cord is already tied into a triangle across the dowel ends, and we are explicit that it goes straight onto a wall hook with no assembly. No weight is published, so use a proper hook rather than an adhesive strip on the 100 cm size.

Measure from the nail. The published 80 cm starts at the dowel; the cord triangle adds another 15 to 20 cm above it, so allow around a meter of clear wall below the fixing whichever width you choose.

Separate the leaves. They arrive pressed flat against each other and the overlapping rows are the whole design - work across the piece fanning each leaf outward from its knotted spine, then comb the fringe below. On the 21-leaf size this takes a few minutes and it is the difference between a flat mass and something with depth.

C, cream with two greens. Sage and forest together, no warm tones at all. The most botanical of the five, and the one for a room with plants in it.

D, cream with navy, gold and gray. The only option with a true dark in it. Navy leaves scattered through cream and gold give this the most contrast of the five, and it is the one that holds a large wall at the 100 cm size.

Above a sofa or a bed, at the 100 cm size. A meter of overlapping leaves covers the proportion those walls want, and because the silhouette is a soft cascade rather than a rectangle it does not repeat the line of the furniture below. We photograph it exactly there.

Second, above a console, a desk or a dining table, at 60 cm. Fifteen leaves at that width read as a considered piece rather than as filler, and the fringe below softens the hard edge of the surface underneath.

Third, a narrow strip at 40 cm - beside a doorway, between two windows, on a stairwell return. Ten leaves is a column, and it is the option to choose when the wall is tall rather than wide. As boho wall decor the range covers all three cases from one listing, which is unusual.

• Every option is 80 cm tall. Only the width changes, so "sizing up" buys coverage sideways and more leaves - not a longer drop. If you need height, this range does not offer it.
• The cotton content is a range, not a figure. 91 to 100 percent, which means up to 9 percent of the cord is something else and unnamed. If you need to know exactly, ask before ordering.
• No weight is published for any of the three sizes, which matters most on the 21-leaf version.
• The description's "hand woven" is closer but still not exact.
• The fringe below the leaves is uneven by design and will need an occasional comb. It is loose cord with no hem.
• We suggest small outdoor events. Cotton cord in weather is a one-day proposition; treat this as indoor decor.

Is there a taller version?

No. Every size is 80 cm tall from the dowel; only the width varies. If you need height rather than width, this range does not offer it.

How is each leaf made?

Cord is knotted tightly along a central spine, then the cut ends are combed out flat either side and the outline trimmed to a point. That is why the midrib is visible and the edge is loose fiber rather than a hem.

Is there fringe below the leaves?

Yes. The drop cords continue past the leaves as loose fringe with uneven ends - it is part of the design rather than an unfinished edge.

Can I use it outdoors?

We suggest small outdoor events. We would not: cotton cord holds damp and the dowel is untreated. Treat it as indoor decor.

How do I clean it?

Dust it and comb the fringe. No washing method is published, and a piece this size in cotton cord is not something to put in water.

Is any hardware included?

No. Nothing is included, though we say no assembly is needed and the cord hanger is already tied.

Where does the 80 cm start?
