• One hanging. Not a set. The photograph above shows two separate pieces staged together, which is worth saying plainly because the supplier's own images do the same thing.
• An arched wooden board, 25 cm / 9.84 in wide on every option, flat-sawn with the grain running across the arch.
• Undyed cream cord fringe, attached along the board's straight lower edge.
• Your choice of silhouette - circle, short or long - which is what the option numbers stand for.
• Nothing else. The supplier states it plainly: one wall hanging, no retail packaging, and none of the props in the photographs.

Every board is the same 25 cm wide. The height is what you are choosing between, and it is measured from the top of the arch to the ends of the cord.

One fixing. The board is 25 cm wide and rigid, so a single point at its center holds it square - there is nothing here that needs two hooks, which is the practical advantage of a board over a cord-hung piece.

No hanging fitting is described by the supplier, and none is visible in any of its photographs, including a close crop of the top of the arch - no hole, no loop, no plate. The pieces hang flush to the wall in every room shot, which suggests something small on the back. Check the back on arrival before you drill, and be ready to add a sawtooth hanger or a pair of adhesive strips.

Hang the short and circle options at eye level, where their whole shape is read at once. The long option wants a taller gap - beside a doorway, in a hall, or in the narrow strip of wall next to a window - because its interest is in the length of the fall rather than in the board.

Comb the fringe once it is up. Cord packs flat and arrives with the strands pressed together; run your fingers down through it a few times and it opens into an even sheet. On option 2 this matters more than on the others, since the curve at the bottom only reads as a circle when the strands lie evenly.

Choose by the wall, not by the price. The circle at 30 cm is a small, self-contained object - it holds a narrow pier of wall, the space above a light switch, or a spot in a gallery arrangement where a rectangle would fight everything else. It is the only one of the three that reads as a shape rather than as a hanging.

The short option at 45 to 50 cm is the general-purpose one. It has enough fall to look deliberate above a nightstand, a desk or a low shelf, without needing the vertical run the long one demands.

The long option at 75 cm is a column. It wants an uninterrupted vertical - the side of a chimney breast, a hallway, the wall between two doors - and it is the one that most rewards combing the fringe, because three quarters of what you see is cord.

On a narrow wall. A 25 cm board fits strips of wall that defeat framed art: beside a door frame, between two windows, on the return of an alcove. Three of them at different lengths hung in a row read as one composition, and because every board is the same width they align without measuring.

Above a desk or a nightstand. There is no glass and no frame, so nothing to catch a lamp's reflection and nothing hard above where someone sleeps or works. The cord absorbs a little sound in the bargain, which a framed print does not.

In a room that gets no light. Undyed cream cord and unstained wood do not depend on sunshine to look like anything, which makes this a fair answer for an interior hallway or a north-facing corner where plants die and colored art goes flat.

• The supplier disagrees with itself on option 4. Its diagram says 50 cm, its text says 45 cm. Plan on 50.
• No fiber percentages. The description says cotton linen; the attribute table says "organic material", which names nothing. There is no split between the two fibers anywhere.
• No weight and no hanging fitting. Neither is published, and nothing is visible on the back of the board in any photograph.
• 1 to 3 cm of measurement tolerance, stated by the supplier. On the 30 cm circle that is up to a tenth of the whole piece.
• The supplier markets it for nurseries. It is soft and has no glass, but it also has 20 to 60 cm of loose hanging cord, no flame rating and no age guidance. Hang it out of reach of a cot, not above one.
• Wood species is not stated, and the grain varies - each board is cut from a different part of the plank, so the piece you receive will not match the photograph exactly.
• No care instructions. Comb and dust the fringe; cord and untreated wood are not things to wash.

How wide is it?

25 cm / 9.84 in across the board, the same on all three options, so several hung in a row line up without measuring.

How big is the circle option?

30 cm tall by 25 cm wide. The fringe is trimmed in a curve so the board and the cord together close into a round.

Is the wood painted or stained?

Neither. It is natural, unpainted wood, and the grain differs from board to board, so the piece you receive will not match the photograph exactly.

Is it really macrame?

No. The supplier's title says macrame, but there is no knotwork - the cord is plain fringe attached along the board's lower edge.

Is a hanging fitting included?

Not described by the supplier, and none is visible in any of its photographs including a close crop of the top of the arch. Check the back on arrival; a sawtooth hanger or two adhesive strips will do it.

How heavy is it?

Not published for any option. A 25 cm board with cord is light, but nobody has put a number on it, so check any adhesive hook's rating.

Which option suits a narrow wall?

Any of them - the board is 25 cm wide on all three. Choose by height: the circle for a short pier, the long one for a full vertical run beside a door or window.

Can it hang above a bed or a desk?

Yes. There is no glass and no frame, so nothing hard above where someone sleeps or works, and the cord takes a little of the room's echo out.

Can I hang all three together?

How do you clean it?

The supplier gives no care instructions. Dust and comb the fringe. Neither untreated wood nor cotton cord is something to wash.

How accurate are the measurements?

Within 1 to 3 cm, which the supplier states in writing because the pieces are measured by hand. On the 30 cm circle that is up to a tenth of the whole piece.

What is in the package?
