What problem does it solve?
Cloth napkins give you something soft and absorbent for messy hands and mouths at mealtime, without reaching for a fresh disposable napkin every time. The washable linen flax blend lets you keep using the same napkins rather than throwing them away after dinner.
These fabric dinner napkins also simplify setting the table: choose the quantity that fits your household or gathering, then bring them out for daily meals or special occasions.
The problem in numbers
The United States generated 67.4 million tons of paper and paperboard waste in 2018. (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 2018)
About 17.2 million tons of paper and paperboard went to US landfills in 2018. (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 2018)
Americans generated an average of 4.9 pounds of municipal solid waste per person per day in 2018. (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 2018)
These figures describe the broader US waste stream, not napkin waste specifically. Washable cloth napkins offer a reusable alternative to disposable napkins at everyday meals, helping you avoid throwing a napkin away after each use.
